Based on KE’s Business plan, KE intends to induct 220 MW (AC peak) Hybrid Renewable Project within 50 km radius from its Dhabeji Grid station into its system. This Project will be developed through Competitive Bidding under IPP mode and will be awarded to the Successful Bidder in accordance with NEPRA’s Competitive Bidding Tariff (Approval Procedure) Regulations 2017. The Successful Bidder will form a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for a stagewise progress, comprising of developing, constructing, operating, and maintaining the Project under a 25-year Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA) with KE. The RFQ for this project has already been floated and interested applicants are invited to participate for the prequalification stage via Local and International advertisements. In parallel, the RFP for this project has been submitted to NEPRA for approval.
